Fertility issue due to aluminium chloride ingestion
Toxic chemicals have specific effects observed, from organ failure, electrolyte transfer inhibition and other cases. One specific research had found out that aluminium chloride contained in drinking water will significantly reduce fertility. The research was conducted on a toxicology test in a controlled laboratory with mice as the animal object.
The present of aluminium chloride as the result of ingestion will significantly reduce testicular and epididymal sperm counts and will also increase testosterone and LH serum levels. I will talk about this later on. I recall myself in another post about barium (Ba) that Ba inhibits the transfer of potassium to the blood, and now aluminium chloride may reduce the fertility of male mice.
However, I am still uncertain whether the reduction of testicular and the sperm is direct effect of aluminium chloride or as a result of the decrease of weights of the seminal vesicles and preputial glands. There were also an alteration of histology found in the part of testicular. Several effects observed on the study were congested blood vessels and increased amount of network tissues.
However, based on this toxicology data, no further information about the likely effect towards human reproduction. Extrapolation had not been conducted. However, this study reveals the probability of aluminium chloride ingestion which may significantly affect reproductive tract. Extrapolation will be explained further on this site in the future.
Study above reminds me about the site Fertility at Thumos Health Center, because the site provides health consultation and treatment about fertility although it is still actually different from the case above. It is actually for information only. The experts at Fertility at Thumos Health Center focus on women’s health and fertility issues. So for women who have fertility issues, you may want to consider visiting this site. This post is an advertisement post for Fertility at Thumos Health Center
